These more
than 100 small islands are home to the Kuna Indians, who maintain their
traditional lifestyle and traditions, wearing colorful native costumes decorated
with examples of indigenous Indian art. They also wear colored bead ornaments on
their wrists and ankles, with chains, pectorals, and gold nose rings completing
the ensemble. |
